Why an online magazine for baby boomers?  Because there are 77 million boomers in America, and 82% of us (or about 66 million) are regularly online! If that alone doesn't merit an eZine, nothing does!  BoomerCafé was founded and is written by baby boomers.  Active boomers.  Young(ish) boomers.

The whole idea behind BoomerCafé is that boomers don't want the traditional news and offerings targeted to older folks.  There are other places you can find that stuff.  As a baby boomer with an active lifestyle, you have BoomerCafé.

Not only for someplace to read, but as someplace to write.  If you have something to say or share about being a boomer, we'd like to hear from you.

BoomerCafé, which has been online as a magazine for active baby boomers since the summer of 1999, and without any paid promotions, has drawn tens of thousands of new readers every month. Many visitors come back again and again because the content is appealing, the visuals are striking, and the format is clear to navigate and easy to read.

It is to create something that doesn't exist anywhere else on the Internet: a real online "home" for baby boomers, an interactive channel of knowledge and information sharing, entertainment focused on boomers with active lifestyles and youthful spirits.
