Hollywood seeking baby boomer volunteers
It’s the wrong Hollywood for a chance to get into movies, but if you’re a baby boomer born between 1946 and 1964 and have some free time, the city of Hollywood, Florida, could use your help as a volunteer.
Hollywood is encouraging recently retired baby boomers to share job and life skills training with people who need it. The city has formed the Boomers Experience and Skills Team, or B.E.S.T. for short, to draw on much-needed and highly valued experience that boomers have to offer.
