&#8220;We change homes like we change cars, about every four or five years. When we do get ahead financially, we look around and find ways to divest ourselves of the extra. We take an expensive vacation, pay for our children’s weddings, give to various charities or buy a new car, boat or time-share condominium.&#8221;<br />
