Greg began his career as a producer, then a correspondent for 23 years with ABC News, where he won two national Emmy Awards, the Distinguished Service Award from the Society of Professional Journalists, and a host of other honors.

For ABC’s World News Tonight, Good Morning America, Nightline, 20/20, and other ABC programs, Greg covered stories in more than 60 countries and in 49 states.

Then, Greg became chief correspondent and anchor for the weekly program “World Report” on HDNet, the all-high definition satellite and cable television network. He produced and reported documentaries about everything from the ports controversy in Dubai to the coca farmer who became Bolivia’s president, from the legacy of Agent Orange in Vietnam to the phenomenon of assisted suicide in Switzerland, from the drug war in Colombia to the post-Apartheid era in South Africa, as well as programs in the United States about everything from living wage campaigns to bird flu to the controversy over immigration to the growth of pornography. For six years he also hosted a weekly Emmy Award-winning discussion program on Rocky Mountain PBS.

In between ABC and HDNet, Greg was the ratings leading talk show host during his time slot at 50,000 watt KOA Radio in Denver, twice winning the ‘Award of Excellence’ from the Colorado Broadcasters Association.  He also wrote opinion columns for The Denver Post, the Rocky Mountain News, and the nationally syndicated Scripps Howard News Service.  He also produced and reported for National Geographic Television.
