Baby Boomers on Twitter
Here is a special list of baby boomers – in response to our story, “Baby Boomers Jump into Twitter” – who are active on Twitter, one of today’s most popular online social media sites to stay in touch with friends, and for networking. We invite you to share additional names, and they will be added to the list. Here is a special email address – [email protected]:

Twitter is such an amazing place to meet really good people.
Twitter led me here….LOVE Twitter. I not only meet great folks, but get to "sound off", ask questions about chickens, if I can freeze mushrooms or not and camera choices. I see some of my twitter friends over on the ….baby boomers jump into twitter…
Love the trigger for Twitter! Yay. Funny thing, the more I engage social media, the more I forget what Boomer means. What's happening? This is why I am so motivated to get my dear ones into the "conversation." Simple fact, it is enriching my life. Informing me, educating me, expanding my world, connecting me to.. well… more than I can describe.
I'm coming to follow you folks, so please add my Twitter to the list:

Cheers!

Suzanna,
Thanks! We have you on the list, and hope you get your friends to join Twitter!!

Found you through twitter! I am looking forward to connecting with other boomers please add me to the list. I will be following the other boomers. I agree with @brainmaker, Lylah, and Susan twitter is a great place to meet new people, ask questions, learn, and be "engaged in the conversation." Who wouldn't love it?
Not to put a pin in the balloon here, but I prefer Facebook to Twitter. With all the regular blogging I do, plus my weekly newspaper column, I find I just can't spend any more time online without sacrificing real face time with my 3-D family and friends. Lately I have been feeling so over-connected that I've deliberately been "forgetting" my cell phone so that I can have private quiet time….
This twitter is really wonderful tool! How people only get that smart… I go there every day and find nice people.
Hello
IDF50 (I don't feel 50) from the UK – trying to get the hang of this twittering lark, enjoyed your article – wasn't sure if over 50's were invited to the twitter party?
This is a fantastic site and so is Twitter. I'm glad to be a part of both!

You can add my name to baby boomers on Twitter. You can find me at Twitter.com/TalkToGeorganne. For 25 years I have been helping mothers and others work at home. My brand new ebook, Never Be Unemployed Again! describes how you will always have a place to go to work if you work online. We already know that we can't retire, but if your income is generated online, it is the second best option!
Twitter is just a great resource. Thanks for putting up a list for us to see.
