What a great investment in your future while adding enjoyment to the here and now. For years my parents drove their motorhome from North Texas to Colorado every summer, staying until snowflakes fell. They had such delightful adventures, especially when grandchildren came to visit. With campfires, hikes, and fishing they shared special moments that wouldn't have happened in their suburban home. Congratulations on restoring your dream!

Wonderful! I love Tim's vintage caravan, all shiny, preening itself like a beautiful old lady along the roads. A dream come true, indeed - certainly very wise not to wait for retirement and jump into the Big Change right away and savor it right down to the last drop!

That brought to mind the film About Schmidt with Jack Nicholson, a big success about 10 years ago - upon retirement, Schmidt had planned on a caravan trip across the USA with his wife but then, on the day he retired, he comes home to find she's died. A tragic beginning that in the film is followed by a joyful adventure (very different from the book actually). And the key here is the joyful adventure: that's something any true blue boomer doesn't want to miss, ever!

Well done, Tim Shephard!
